Voices of Light (Youth Choir):
Meet every Sunday from 4pm-5pm in the Choir room in the Activities
Building
UMY:
We meet from 5pm-7pm in the
Activities Building every Sunday
night. We eat, fellowship, and talk
about how God is at work around us
and in our lives.
UpComing Events:
Saturday, August 27th
Youth Ignite at Camp Istrouma. We will meet at church for 6:30am. We will have tons of fun and worship too! Donuts and Milk will be provided for breakfast.
Family Fun Fest will be at church from 4-7pm. Bring a side dish and your family as we will be playing all sorts of games like kickball, ring toss, bubbles, ultimate frisbee and so much more!
Sunday, August 28th
Youth Council Elections! This is a great opportunity to lead our UMY for the next year.
Sunday, September 4th
No UMY due to Labor Day weekend.
Sunday, September 25th
Ecumenical Song Fest with the Voices of Light. Come out and support our V.O.L. starting at 7-8:15pm at St. Francis.
Upcoming Volunteering Opportunities
Saturday, September 24th the church will be hosting a Community Resource Fair from 9am-4pm. See Niki if you would like to help with this event!
Sunday, October 2nd The Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser was a success. So..we are going to St. Mark's UMC in New Orleans to feed the homeless. We will meet at church for 7am and be back for 3pm. Wear your tennis shoes!
